Clear is built on a foundation of privacy and user respect. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our hydration tracking application ("Clear" or "the App"). We believe your personal data belongs to you, and we've designed Clear to honor that principle.

• Water Intake Logs: Amount of water consumed, timestamps, container types
• Daily Progress: Progress toward your daily goal
• Historical Data: Past hydration logs for tracking trends

3. App Settings and Preferences (Stored Locally Only)

• Notification Preferences: Reminder frequency, sound and vibration settings
• Display Preferences: Theme, preferred units
• Privacy Settings: Analytics preferences (disabled by default)

How We Store Your Information

Local Storage Only

• Primary Database: All user data is stored using Realm database technology directly on your device
• Settings Storage: App preferences are stored using secure local storage (AsyncStorage)
• No Cloud Storage: We do not maintain any servers or cloud databases containing your personal information
• No Accounts Required: Clear works without creating an account, signing up, or providing any identifying information

Data Security

• All data is encrypted and stored securely on your device
• Data is only accessible by the Clear app
• No data transmission to external servers (except for optional donation links)

Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we don't collect:

• No Personal Identifiers: No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or user accounts
• No Location Data: We don't track your location
• No Device Identifiers: We don't collect device IDs, advertising IDs, or similar identifiers
• No Analytics by Default: Usage analytics are disabled by default and require explicit opt-in
• No Behavioral Tracking: We don't track how you use the app beyond what's necessary for functionality

Your Privacy Rights and Controls

Complete Data Control

• View Your Data: All your data is accessible within the app
• Export Your Data: You can manually record your data from the app's interface
• Delete Your Data: Use the "Reset All Data" feature in settings to permanently delete all information
• No Data Recovery: Since data is stored only on your device, we cannot recover deleted data

Privacy Settings

• Analytics: Disabled by default, can be enabled/disabled in settings
• Notifications: Can be completely disabled while retaining all other functionality
• Data Reset: Complete data deletion available at any time

Children's Privacy

Clear does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences and does not contain age-specific features or content targeting children.

Data Retention

• Active Use: Data is retained on your device as long as you use the app
• App Deletion: All data is automatically deleted when you uninstall Clear
• Manual Deletion: You can delete all data at any time using the app's reset feature

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make changes:
